Where the Bears Are: An Update

Mt. Park Bear has had an accident. Early on the morning of July 23, a drunken bicyclist ran headlong into him, severing an arm. The Police were notified and they collected the appendage and returned it to some early morning Easthampton City Arts Bear Tenders. He has now been removed from the street and is under repair.

Bumble Bear is also under repairs at the artist’s studio. Please be patient, as Bumble Bear will return shortly to his perch inside Eastworks!

As of July 19 nearly all of the small bears have been removed from their outdoor locations and placed in windows around the city. Due to thefts and vandalism this has been a necessary move until better security can be provided for them.
