Babies Back Out on the Streets
Posted July 24th, 2009
Starting Saturday, July 25, 2009, all the baby bears will once again grace the streets of Easthampton on their outdoor logs. Each day, starting at 8 a.m., seven of the babies will be moved outdoors to spend the day visiting with Bear Fest fans, and returning to their safe dens by 8 p.m. each night. Only one bear will not be returned to the street each day and that is Bear, Bath & Beyond, which will remain in the window at Nashawannuck Gallery until the end of the exhibit. A sign will be posted on their logs explaining the exhibit times. We, of course, would prefer all of the bears out on the streets 24/7 and are working on a solution to make that happen.
