Maple Street School Walking Tour

Kids from Maple Street School took a walking tour of the bears in Easthampton. What a field trip!

By Austin Paret Grade 1 Center School
Some of the bears make me hungry. Gingerbear Man makes me want to eat him. When I see Fishing Bear I drool. Jellybean Bear makes me hop up and down. Birthday Bear makes me feel like I’m one year older. The bears are so tasty with flavors of happiness.

Roar! Roar! Roar!
Bears are awesome.
I love the bears, they are so, so awesome!

By Aurora Meehan Grade 1 Center School
I like the bear called Aurora Bearalis, that bear makes me happy. The bear called Bear, Bath and Beyond makes me want to take a bath in the tub. The Porkie pine bear is very prickly. I love the bears!

Ms. Bett’s First Grade Bear Drawings

Thank you Letters from Ms. Strong’s 2nd Grade Class at Maple Street School. Thanks, Kids!!

My Bear Story

Be an author and write a bear story! You could write about your favorite Bear Fest bears, how the bears change downtown, your family’s visit with the bears, how do you think the bears got here, are the bears good for Easthampton — or come up with your own creative idea! Drop them in the Bear Story box in the children’s room at the Emily Williston Memorial Library when you are done. Have fun!
